Job summary

Transco Northwest Inc. in California is seeking a Dust Collection/Air Pollution Control Technician to install, maintain, and repair industrial dust collection and air filtration systems in a cement plant and heavy industrial environment.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure OSHA/MSHA compliance while adhering to safety protocols. This role operates Monday through Friday, 7AM–3PM, with physical demands typical of heavy industrial

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with maintenance in cement plants is preferred.
• MSHA certification and related belt/filtration knowledge.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with baghouses, cartridge collectors, cyclones, and ductwork is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dust collection systems (baghouses, cartridge collectors, cyclones, ductwork).
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in air filtration systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations.

We are hiring a Dust Collection/Air Pollution Control Technician to install, maintain, and repair industrial dust collection and air filtration systems in cement plant and heavy industrial environment. This role is critical in maintaining air quality, system performance, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dust collection systems (baghouses, cartridge collectors, cyclones, ductwork).
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in air filtration systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations.

What You MUST Have

• Heavy Belting Experience (trouble shooting, belt tracking, splicing, hot vulcanizing).
• MM104 and MM106 method 9 Certificate (a plus).
