Job summary

Celestica seeks an experienced Research & Development Labs Network Admin to manage air-gapped networks across global RDL sites, including Richardson. You will handle routing, switches, firewalls, and secure access without standard AD tooling, focusing on hands-on administration and secure workflows.

The role covers edge devices, local repo hosting, and secure file transfers with strict security compliance. A strong Linux background and lab network experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Administration, IT, Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 4+ years of network or system administration, preferably in secure, segmented lab networks.
• Certifications in Check Point, Security+, Linux+ and CyberArk are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Daily: monitor health and uptime of RDL hardware (firewalls, SD-WAN, switches).
• Manage VLANs, IP allocations, and port provisioning for multi-tenant projects.
• Administer local jump hosts and non-AD access, maintain secure workflows manually.
• Handle secure data transfer across air gaps and validate integrity of packages.
• Support IT tickets with SLA adherence and escalate complex issues.
