Job summary

Star City Heating & Cooling is seeking an Air Duct Technician in Lincoln, NE to join our team and enhance indoor air quality and home efficiency.

You will seal HVAC systems with Aeroseal, assist with inventory and fleet readiness, and build strong relationships with homeowners to ensure satisfaction. A valid driver’s license, ability to pass a drug screen and background check are required.

What You'll Do:

As an Air Duct Technician, you are the face of our commitment to indoor air quality and home efficiency. You will play a vital role in our installation department, ensuring every home we service is clean, safe, and running at peak performance.

• Expertly seal central heating, cooling, and ventilation systems using Aeroseal technology.
• Assist with shop duties, including receiving parts, organizing inventory, and keeping our fleet "truck-ready."
• Build rapport with homeowners, ensuring they are satisfied and excited about the services we provide.
• Work hand-in-hand with our Install Manager and Coordinator to ensure seamless job execution.

What You Bring:

• You have high integrity and a drive to be better today than you were yesterday.
• Previous duct cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
• Strong verbal and written skills to effectively interact with teammates and customers.
• A valid driver’s license with an insurable record is required. Candidates must also pass a drug screen and background check.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-75 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs repetitively.
• The job requires working in cramped spaces like attics and crawlspaces, which involves a lot of bending, crawling, and kneeling.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders.
• Must be able to work in different environments that can be hot, cold, dusty, or dirty.
• Physical ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and work for extended periods without becoming overly fatigued.
