Job summary

Lightspeed Restoration is seeking an Air Duct Cleaning Lead Tech to oversee a crew for residential and commercial duct cleaning. You will manage production, costs, and quality while sometimes performing hands-on HVAC tasks.

Strong leadership and NADCA certification are required to lead field teams effectively. The role offers growth within the restoration services and pays hourly with opportunities for advancement based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience in air duct cleaning or HVAC services (Required).
• 1–2 years leadership experience (Required).
• NADCA certification (Required to achieve full time/team lead role).
• Other industry relevant certifications: IICRC, WRT, ASCS, OSHA 30.
• Working knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices is a strong plus.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work effectively in a team.
• Able to coordinate a team to achieve production goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of basic PC operations.
• Professional appearance and reliable driving record.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and pass pre-employment background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a crew for commercial and residential air duct cleaning jobs.
• Control job costs, production times, quality assurance and documentation.
• May work as a Field Technician executing service tasks as needed.
• Lead training for new technicians and ensure safe practices on site.
• Maintain safety on job sites and enforce safety measures.
• Document projects with photos, contracts, and other records.
