Job summary

Global Consulting International seeks a seasoned Air Component Planner (ALO/TACP) for a full-time government contract at Fort Leavenworth. The role requires deep knowledge of TACS/AAGS, MACCS, NTACS, SOAGS and joint air operations at division and brigade levels.

The incumbent will coordinate AI/CAS and help integrate air assets with ground maneuver. Responsibilities include planning air control, mentoring training audiences, and developing airspace and CONOPS.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Theater Air Control System (TACS)/Army Air-Ground System (AAGS), MACCS, NTACS and SOAGS.
• Experience coordinating air interdicti on and close air support with maneuver forces.
• Ability to develop airspace plans and integrate joint air operations into CONOPS.

Responsibilities

• Plan/coordinate air control for counter-land operations (AI and CAS).
• Assist training audience planners/operators on synchronizing AI and CAS.
• Develop and modify unit airspace plans and C/JFACC ACP with AOC.
• Coach trainees on resolving airspace, clearance of fires, weather and terrain conflicts.
