Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Ramp Agent to load and unload cargo, operate on the ramp, and ensure secure handling of freight. The role requires physical strength and the ability to work in high-noise environments, with flexibility for weekends and shifts.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform in variable weather and environmental conditions (jet engine fumes, vehicle emissions, dust, noise).
• Load and unload aircraft up to 70 lbs, and move up to 3,200 lbs on rollers.
• Transport cargo to and from aircraft using a 3,000 lb vehicle.
• Read off-load sheets to determine cargo destination.
