Job summary

MaximaTek in the United States (New Jersey) is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and optimize machine learning models and AI-powered applications. The role requires a solid foundation in ML, data science, and software development, and a passion for solving real-world business problems with AI.

You will work with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to build scalable pipelines, evaluate models, and iterate on features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, or related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in AI, ML, data science, or software development.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, or XGBoost.

We are seeking a motivated and innovative AI/ML Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing, developing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models and AI-powered applications. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in machine learning, data science, and software development who are eager to solve real-world business problems using artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, train, test, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models.
• Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
• Build scalable data pipelines to support AI and machine learning workflows.
• Implement supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning algorithms.
• Design and optimize predictive models for classification, regression, recommendation, forecasting, and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and improve model accuracy through feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning.
• Deploy machine learning models using cloud platforms and MLOps best practices.
• Monitor production models and retrain them as needed to maintain performance.
• Document model architecture, experiments, and technical processes.
• Stay current with advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or software development.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, or XGBoost.
