Precision Castparts Corp. in Oregon is seeking an Automated Inspection Equipment (AIE) Operator to measure castings and fixtures with computer-assisted systems. You will load programs, calibrate equipment, and ensure dimensional accuracy per tech cards and customer specs.
The role requires reading precision documents, basic geometry, and strong attention to detail. Applicants should be able to lift up to 25 lbs and work with diverse metrology software in a manufacturing setting.
To operate Automated Inspection Equipment (AIE) utilizing software programs to measure dimensions on castings and fixtures, verifies measurement printouts from Tech Card information for non-conforming parts to meet PCC and customer specifications.
Objective: to operate the AI Equipment to effectively and accurately inspect casting dimensions and ensure dimensional integrity; to measure dimensions for balancing and positioning of castings.
