Moscow School District is seeking a Position Aide for Lena Whitmore Elementary for 3 hours per day. Responsibilities include supervising recess, bus area, and lunchroom, assisting in the office and computer lab, and supporting small group interventions as needed.

POSITION AIDE - Lena Whitmore Elementary - 3 hours/day

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include recess, bus area and lunchroom supervision, assisting in the office, computer lab proctoring, assisting with small group interventions, and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical abilities: observing student behavior, communicating observations orally and in writing; supporting students as required in emergency situations or for their safety (such as emergency evacuation or in an accident where aid must be provided).
  • Reading, writing and speaking English.
  • Work effectively as a team member; communicating clearly and completely, adjusting to work toward group goals, positively represents the school/district in communication and action.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with children including test proctoring, conflict management, problem solving and mediation.
