Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AIDC Network Engineer to support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of AI infrastructure and data center networks. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of production network environments while coordinating with colocation providers, telecommunications carriers, hardware vendors, and global technical teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in data center networking, high-speed interconnect technologies, and operational excellence within mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate on-site network implementation and operational activities at U.S. data centers, serving as the primary liaison with colocation facilities, telecommunications carriers, hardware vendors
- Deploy, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot production service networks, management networks, and high-speed InfiniBand/RoCE fabric networks.
- Configure, administer, and optimize network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, BGP, VLANs, ACLs, and other network components.
- Implement and maintain network security controls, including access management, user privileges, multi-factor authentication (MFA), vulnerability remediation, security log monitoring, and initial incident response.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration backups, asset inventories, change records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor network and data center service level agreements (SLAs), lead incident response activities, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely support for critical network incidents and perform on-site troubleshooting when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or network operations, preferably within data center or AI/GPU infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise and data center networking technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, ACLs, VPNs, firewalls, and Spine-Leaf architectures.
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting networking equipment from Cisco, Arista, Juniper, or NVIDIA/Mellanox.
- Experience with InfiniBand, RoCE, and RDMA technologies is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with network security concepts and technologies, including IAM, MFA, SIEM, EDR, and common security compliance frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Linux administration and automation tools such as Shell scripting, Python, or Ansible.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners.
