The ideal candidate has 15+ years in project management for large-scale water projects, strong leadership, and proven capability in SAP, MS Projects, and Primavera P6. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (any discipline).
• 15+ years in project management for large projects (>$20M).
• Experience managing EPC water treatment projects and proposals.
• Strong contract, risk, and budget management skills.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities of the project or proposal per schedule.
• Lead diverse project teams across engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Review contracts and prepare consolidated exceptions/clarifications.
• Develop risk register and mitigation strategies during proposals.
• Prepare and maintain EPC budgets and project schedules.
• Coordinate document preparation and client proposals.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

The hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Project Manager will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent time management skills, good communicator, have excellent problem-solving skills, be team oriented, be customer service driven, and the ability to delegate. This candidate will also have experience handling projects of $20M or more.Job DescriptionManage, Plan, Organize, implement, and control all activities of the project or proposal per ScheduleManage diverse project teams in proposal preparation and subsequent project execution for EPCWater treatment projects. The diverse project teams consist of teams from Process, engineering,procurement, logistics, estimating, project controls, safety, fabrication, construction management and material management.Review Contract and create consolidated list of exceptions and clarifications.Develop Risk Register and review risk mitigation with management during proposal stage.Generate EPC estimate and maintain overall project budget and schedule for proposals and projects.Check and comment on P&ID’s and General Arrangements.Review engineering documents and drawings.Review Global sourcing plans and RFQ’s.Prepare budgetary and firm price estimatesCoordinate & consolidate document preparation: proposals to client.Review the RFB to EPC contractorsChange management with Clients as well as with vendors/sub-contractors.Correspondence with customer.Attend customer meetings as required.Work closely with customer and develop a spirit of mutual trust and co-operationEnsure high level of customer satisfaction.Communications w/vendors and installation subcontractors to evaluate competitive quotes & negotiations.Internal communication with all departments, including global offices.Work autonomously without constant guidance.International as well as domestic travel as required (could be extensive at times).Skill RequirementsAbility to write contractual requirements.Ability to comment on Engineering specifications.Interpreting specifications related to engineering equipment.Ability to communicate effectively with customers, maintain a positive attitude and have good organizational skills.Ability to plan and manage multiple projects or proposalDecision-making ability and leadership skills.Attention to detail.Ability to lead and mentor the team.High level of proficiency in using MS Office productsExperience in estimation, projects bidding and project execution.Experience in project-related industry in successful Execution of projects.Ability to use SAP software.Ability to use MS Office software at a high level of proficiency.Ability to use MS Projects and Primavera P6.Ability to navigate the 3D model through NavisworksExperience in using estimating software AspenMinimum Qualifications / ExperienceB.S. in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related)Fifteen (15) or more years in Project management with handling projects of $20 million and above.
