Job summary

Big Sandy Superstore is seeking an AI Visualization & Online Furniture Sales Specialist to lead integration of AI-powered room placement tools into our e-commerce experience. You’ll help customers see furniture in their homes using AI to place items in real room photos, driving online conversion and reducing returns.

You’ll work with product, marketing, and web teams to ensure AI-ready images and assets, analyze conversion impact, and partner with vendors offering AI or virtual staging tech.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We're looking for an AI Visualization & Online Furniture Sales Specialist to lead the integration of AI-powered room placement tools into our e-commerce experience. In this role, you'll help customers see exactly how our furniture will look in their own homes — using AI to virtually place sofas, dining sets, mattresses, and more into real customer room photos — driving online conversion and reducing returns.

What You'll Do

• Manage and optimize AI room visualization/placement tools integrated into our online store (e.g., AI-driven "see it in your room" features)
• Work with product, marketing, and web teams to ensure product catalog images and 3D/AR assets are AI-ready
• Analyze how AI visualization impacts online conversion rates, cart size, and return rates, and report findings to leadership
• Partner with vendors/software providers offering AI room-design or virtual staging technology
• Support online customers directly by helping troubleshoot or walk them through using the AI placement tool
• Identify new AI tools/trends in retail visualization and recommend adoption
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure the right products are prioritized for AI visualization features

What We're Looking For

• Experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or online retail sales
• Familiarity with AI-powered visualization, AR/VR, or virtual staging tools (retail or interior design space a plus)
• Strong analytical skills — comfortable looking at conversion data and making recommendations
• Excellent communication skills, both with internal teams and customers
• Interest in home furnishings, interior design, or retail technology
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI image generation/placement tools or 3D room planning software
• Background in furniture, home goods, or interior design retail
• Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify, etc.)
