The role ensures third-party AI capabilities meet Centene's AI Control Plane requirements, with responsibilities spanning intake, architecture, and governance across enterprise teams. The position requires strong leadership, a track record in vendor vetting, and collaboration with procurement, legal, and risk teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of related experience, including prior management experience.
• Preferred: Experience vetting and implementing vendor solutions, preferably AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead vendor AI intake review and assessment of solutions across Centene's AI Control Plane.
• Define and drive evaluation methodology, standards, and evidence requirements for vendor AI solutions.
• Coordinate with AI Intake, Enterprise AI Governance, Security Risk Management, Procurement and Legal to route reviews before contracts.
• Oversee conformance, model-change notifications, and remediation for vendor AI integrations.
• Register vendor AI systems and agents in the enterprise AI Inventory and Agent Registry with required metadata and lifecycle state.
