Job summary

Prolific is seeking Data Scientists and Data Analysts to join its Expert Network to train and evaluate AI models using real technical expertise. If successful, you’ll be invited to participate as a paid contributor. Many tasks pay up to $80 per hour and require about an hour of uninterrupted work.

You will review AI outputs, validate proofs and data-driven conclusions, and annotate model performance. Strong Python/R, SQL, and ML knowledge are essential, with PayPal for payments.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in a quantitative field (Data Science, Stats, Math).
• Real-world data analysis, predictive modeling, or ML engineering experience.
• Ability to solve complex statistical problems and interpret data visuals.
• Experience using LLMs to assist data workflows; understand hallucinations.
• Strong communication to explain math concepts clearly.
• PayPal account to receive payment from clients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated data insights for accuracy and clarity.
• Fact-check technical claims with authoritative references.
• Validate code/outputs by running scripts in Python or R.
• Annotate model performance and identify strengths/weaknesses.
• Ensure model responses align with guidelines and professional standards.
