Job summary

Prolific is seeking Data Scientists and Data Analysts to join its Expert Network, training and evaluating AI models using real technical expertise. You’ll complete a 10–15 minute skills test and, if successful, work on paid tasks that may require one hour of uninterrupted work, with many shorter engagements.

Up to $80/hour for expert tasks, with remote, flexible hours. You will review AI-generated data insights, validate computational outputs, and ensure alignment with guidelines.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field.
• Real-world experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, or machine learning engineering.
• Significant experience using LLMs to assist data workflows and understanding model fail modes.
• Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and concisely.
• PayPal account to receive payment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated data insights and statistical analyses for accuracy and clarity.
• Fact-check mathematical proofs, formulas, and data-driven conclusions using authoritative references.
• Validate code outputs by running Python/R scripts and checking edge cases.
• Annotate model performance to highlight strengths and weaknesses in reasoning.
• Ensure model responses align with system guidelines and professional standards.
