Job summary

Springs Window Fashions invites a motivated Information Technology intern for Summer 2027 to help build an AI feature validation harness and measure AI-powered features. You will work with cross-functional teams on test case automation, data handling, and scripting-heavy tasks in a fast-paced consumer products company environment.

The internship offers hands-on project work, paid on-the-job training, and opportunities for professional development, job shadowing, and growth within Springs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; Junior or Senior standing preferred
• Working proficiency in Python for building test cases and automation
• Familiarity with SQL and basic data analysis concepts
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with ambiguity and iterative work style
• Interest in AI/ML applications is a plus

Responsibilities

• AI Feature Validation Harness development and maintenance
• Create golden test sets (100-300 expert-reviewed cases per feature)
• Develop scoring logic with deterministic checks and model-as-judge evaluation
• Build on-demand test runner triggered by model/prompt changes
• Create a trend dashboard tracking pass rates over time
• Develop playbooks for feature additions and release gates
• Ensure ownership and governance of the test workflow
