Job summary

Franklin Fitch is assisting an AM100 law firm investing heavily in AI adoption to hire an experienced Project Manager to own the AI delivery portfolio from intake to completion.

You’ll be the sole PM in the group, setting up how projects are scoped, prioritized, and delivered from day one. Build the PM function around AI delivery rather than fitting into an existing process, partnering with senior stakeholders and technical teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project or program management experience in AI or GenAI delivery.
• Experience with professional services or regulated environments is a plus.
• Ability to build process from scratch and defend it to senior stakeholders.

Job description

I'm working directly with the Head of Enterprise Architecture and Applications at an AM100 law firm that's investing heavily in AI adoption and innovation across the enterprise. The volume of new AI-related requests, intakes, and projects has outpaced the team's current capacity, and they now need an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of the portfolio.

You'll be the sole PM in the group. That means real ownership from day one: you'll be the one setting up how projects get scoped, prioritized, and delivered, not inheriting someone else's process. If you've been waiting for a seat where you can build the PM function around AI delivery rather than slot into an existing one, this is that seat.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing multiple concurrent AI-focused projects from intake through delivery, working directly with the Head of Enterprise Architecture and Applications to prioritize and reallocate resources as new requests come in.
• Acting as the connective tissue between technical teams building the AI capability and the business stakeholders requesting it.
• Establishing the intake, tracking, and reporting processes for the group, since none of this is currently formalized.
• Managing timelines and risk across a portfolio where priorities will shift as the firm's AI strategy evolves.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 3-plus years of project or program management experience, with direct exposure to AI, GenAI, or SaaS platform delivery.
• Comfortable running a high volume of concurrent projects without a PMO structure to lean on. Experience working in or with professional services or regulated environments (law firm, legal tech, fintech, or similar) is a strong plus given the stakeholder complexity.
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.
• Confident enough to build process from scratch and defend it to senior stakeholders.
