Deluxe Corporation is seeking an experienced AI Technical Project Manager to lead AI/ML and enterprise technology initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and ensure timely, quality delivery of AI-driven solutions aligned with business goals.

The ideal candidate has 13+ years of technical project management experience, strong knowledge of AI/ML lifecycles, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Proficiency in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall is required.

Job Summary

Deluxe Corporation is seeking an experienced AI Technical Project Manager to support ongoing and upcoming AI, machine learning, and enterprise technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 13+ years of experience managing complex technical projects, with a strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, Agile methodologies, and enterprise application delivery.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project risks and dependencies, and ensuring the successful delivery of AI-driven solutions aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 13+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably within enterprise technology or AI-driven programs.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML project lifecycles, including data preparation, model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience working with AI technologies such as Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, NLP, or Machine Learning platforms.
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience managing technical teams comprising AI/ML engineers, data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps professionals.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with distributed teams, third-party vendors, and technology partners.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and delivery governance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, API integrations, and enterprise application architecture.
• Excellent reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Technical Project Delivery

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML and enterprise technology projects from initiation through implementation.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, software developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate AI model development, data integration, API development, testing, deployment, and production rollout activities.
• Ensure AI solutions align with business requirements, technical standards, and organizational objectives.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Coordinate with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct project status meetings and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize competing business requirements.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to enterprise project management standards, SDLC processes, and delivery governance.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and architecture teams to ensure responsible and secure AI implementation.
• Track project KPIs, budgets, resource utilization, and overall delivery performance.
• Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, project plans, and executive-level reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster certification.
• Experience managing AI transformation or enterprise GenAI initiatives.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
• Experience with AI governance, data privacy, model risk management, and responsible AI practices.
• Prior experience in financial services, payments, insurance, or other enterprise environments.
