Job summary

Westcliff University is recruiting Adjunct Assistant Professors to teach undergraduate, masters and doctoral courses for the College of Technology and Engineering. Courses are delivered via Moodle LMS with a focus on innovation in global education and student empowerment.

You will review syllabi, deliver lectures across online, on-campus, or hybrid formats, and evaluate student performance using rubrics. Expect participation in governance and program development while upholding university

Qualifications

Doctoral degree (regionally or internationally accredited) in or closely related field.
Will consider Doctorates in progress if at least 15 credits remain in the chosen teaching field.
Experience teaching online, on-campus, or in hybrid format.
Five years of university-level teaching in the discipline.
Commitment to teaching students from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and managing your syllabus and corresponding materials.
Facilitating class instruction utilizing your experience and passion for your field.
Teaching assigned classes in line with learning objectives and session plans.
Administering evaluations of student performance based on rubrics.
Posting course grades on the LMS and providing timely feedback.
Submitting grades for assignments and discussions promptly.
Participating in Faculty Senate, program development and committees.
Adhering to university protocols and performing other duties as assigned.
