Job summary

Intel Corporation in the United States is seeking a Software Development Graduate Intern to contribute to design, development, testing, and optimization of system software across firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, and AI frameworks.

You will work with C, C++, and Python to advance AI, ML, and computing platforms, gain hands-on experience, and collaborate with engineers across software, hardware, architecture, and AI disciplines on real-world projects that align with Intel's objectives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master or PhD in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM degree.
• Available to work full-time for 6+ month internship.
• 3+ months of academic or professional experience in Linux/Windows software development, C/C++, Python, ML/DL development, AI frameworks (TensorFlow and/or PyTorch), RL and/or Generative AI including LLMs and diffusion models.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize software across the stack using C, C++, and Python.
• Support AI/ML and DL initiatives across software and hardware platforms.
• Develop and enhance workflows supporting MLOps and DL CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineers across software, hardware, architecture, and AI disciplines.
• Contribute to performance analysis, debugging, and optimization.
