Artificial Intelligence (AI) Systems Engineer

Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for an AI Systems Engineer in our Intelligence Sector's (INTEL) Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). Our talented team works at the forefront of Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Mission Focus: Collaborate closely with customers to bridge advanced AI capabilities, data engineering, and user experience design. Build agentic AI workflow automations for data pipelines, research and analysis, and automated reporting.
• Technical Proficiency: Configure and manage AWS services, migrate data into AWS-hosted databases, and support scalable cloud‑based solutions. Develop analytics capabilities, apply statistical analysis, and leverage technical targeting methodologies.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus nine (9) years of relevant experience or equivalent. Proficiency with object‑oriented languages (JAVA, JavaScript, Python) and experience with Jupyter Notebooks.
• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Desirable Skills: Experience creating interactive visualizations that transform complex data‑science insights into compelling, actionable intelligence for end users and decision‑makers.

Pay Range: $107,900.00 – $195,050.00
