Job summary

EY is seeking an AI Systems Engineer to own delivery, model-serving, routing, and observability for EY’s AI-native platform. You’ll work across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped environments within the Hybrid AI Runtime, shaping how AI workloads are executed, observed, and governed.

This role sits at the intersection of DevOps, MLOps, FinOps, and observability, requiring strong pipelines, GPU inference, and cost visibility end‑to‑end. Hybrid/remote-friendly in the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, MLOps, platform, or observability engineering with ownership of AI or high-throughput services.
• Hands-on CI/CD/CV pipelines and GitOps tooling for automated build, test, release, rollback.
• Experience operating inference/model-serving frameworks on GPU infrastructure.
• Strong observability stack experience and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with cost management/FinOps tooling and quota enforcement.
• Familiarity with registries, CVE scanning, and license/lineage tracking.
• Proven track record in regulated delivery environments.
• Ability to define clear ownership boundaries and consumption contracts.

Responsibilities

• Supports DevOps and delivery for AI workloads: CI/CD/CV pipelines, automated build/test/verify/release and rollback.
• Own governance and discovery for AI assets and model metadata.
• Own resource and cost management with quotas and rate limits.
• Own the full observability stack: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and SLA alerts.
• Own OpenTelemetry collection layer and multi-tenant signal routing.
• Automate GitOps-based delivery and ensure policy-compliant gates.
• Close the loop between delivery and observability using telemetry and cost signals.
• Ensure per-tenant attribution for FinOps and observability.
