Job summary

Valkai in New York is seeking an experienced Lead AI Strategist to own a pod serving Fortune 100 pharma and leading medical device customers. You set strategy, staffing, and account sequencing, and you are accountable for adoption, value delivered, renewals, and expansion.

You will hire and develop a pod of AI Strategists, lead executive conversations, shape the value case, and guide deployments from pilot to enterprise-wide agreements.

Responsibilities

• Run the pod like a business: set strategy and plans for pharma and medical device clients.
• Build and lead the team: hire, develop, and remove blockers for AI Strategists.
• Hold executive relationships: lead conversations that move pilots to enterprise engagements.
• Set quality bar: oversee problem framing, requirements, success criteria, and delivery.
• Advise on AI in regulated environments: governance, validation, and change management.
• Bridge product and customer reality: feed roadmap with account learnings.
• Write the playbook: codify deployment playbooks and onboarding for scale.
