Overview

Our client is seeking a senior Healthcare AI Strategy Consultant to support evaluation and selection of an AI platform to embed within their Streamline SmartCare EHR environment.

The organization is evaluating multiple clinical AI vendors and requires a structured, vendor-neutral approach to define requirements, assess capabilities, and drive stakeholder alignment toward a timely decision.

This role will focus on clinical workflow evaluation, vendor comparison, integration considerations, and executive-level recommendation development.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured requirements gathering with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders
• Translate workflow pain points into defined AI use cases
• Develop evaluation criteria and vendor scorecards
• Facilitate vendor demonstrations and structured comparison sessions
• Assess integration considerations within Streamline SmartCare
• Evaluate discrete documentation capabilities, workflow alignment, and user impact
• Identify security, compliance, and governance considerations
• Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders
• Develop high-level implementation roadmap following vendor selection

Qualifications

• 7+ years of healthcare IT consulting experience
• Strong EHR workflow expertise (Behavioral Health preferred)
• Experience leading vendor evaluations or technology selection initiatives
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation workflows
• Ability to engage clinical and executive stakeholders
• Structured, detail-oriented approach to analysis and decision-making

Preferred

• Experience supporting AI or digital health tool evaluations
• Experience with Streamline SmartCare or similar Behavioral Health EHR
• Background in clinical informatics or nursing leadership
