Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an AI Solution Architect to design AI platforms and solutions on Azure for financial services clients. You will lead architecture from discovery to implementation, select models, ensure security and governance, and mentor engineering teams.

The role requires deep cloud knowledge, practical LLM pattern experience, and strong communication skills to translate complex analytics to business stakeholders. Flexible working and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD level in a discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences or Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years in software/solution architecture with 3+ years designing AI/ML platforms and solutions in Azure.
• Deep knowledge of at least one Cloud Provider (AKS/ACI, App Service, Functions, API Management, Event Hubs/Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, Private Link, VNet) and identity/access.

Responsibilities

• Define target and reference architectures for AI solutions on Cloud with focus on security, compliance, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Lead solution design from discovery to HLD/LLD, selecting models, vector stores, and integration patterns with core systems.
• Set non-functional requirements (SLOs, performance, resiliency) and design observability across app, data, and model layers.
• Embed Responsible AI and data protection by design including guardrails, privacy preserving patterns, and encryption.
• Guide delivery squads during implementation, conduct design reviews, mitigate risks, and ensure CI/CD and IaC quality.
• Contribute to reusable accelerators, blueprints and assets; coach engineers and promote engineering excellence.
