Job summary

Amentum seeks an AI Solutions Architect — Programs & Delivery to lead JANUS operations within the AI Center of Excellence. This role oversees portfolio intake, pilot and lighthouse records, and governance, ensuring timely, board-ready execution of AI initiatives.

The position is hybrid to our Reston, VA Office and requires US citizenship. You will coordinate with CTO/CIO, legal, finance, and vendor teams to align architecture with two-cloud deployments and enterprise workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI/data program architecture or enterprise delivery; Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience operating an enterprise AI intake/portfolio system.
• Cloud familiarity: Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Operate JANUS for COE intake, triage, prioritization, and lifecycle tracking.
• Translate business problems into AI solution architectures and patterns.
• Support GenAI integration and deployment into mission workflows.
• Coordinate lighthouse charter execution with spoke leads.
• Maintain COE decision log and council readiness monthly.
• Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers during platform buildout.
• Maintain alignment between Azure Commercial and Azure Government.
