Job summary

sg360° in Wheeling, IL is seeking an AI Solutions Developer to design, deploy, and maintain secure AI-enabled automation that integrates with ERP and enterprise systems. You will translate complex business workflows into reliable, auditable solutions and enforce human approval checkpoints for consequential actions.

The role spans LLM/agent engineering, AWS serverless infrastructure, and backend development, building pipelines, secure integrations, and robust observability to ensure reliability,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/SE/IS or related field.
• 3–6 years of software, cloud, backend, or AI engineering experience, including production systems.
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting production AI/cloud/back-end solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex designs clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agent pipelines using approved LLM platforms and APIs, including tool definitions, system prompts, context files, orchestration loops, state management, and exception handling.
• Develop secure integrations that allow agents to interact with SQL databases, REST APIs, documents, images, spreadsheets, email, and other enterprise systems.
• Enforce validated outputs using tools such as Pydantic or Zod and implement human approval checkpoints before consequential or irreversible actions.
• Diagnose production behavior by tracing prompts, model responses, tool calls, validations, and downstream events; resolve issues through changes to prompts, schemas, code, or workflow design.
• Choose between AI methods and deterministic logic based on reliability, risk, cost, and business requirements.
