Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Business Administration, MIS, Data Analytics, CS, Finance or related.

The AI Solutions Analyst supports business units in identifying, evaluating, and implementing appropriate uses of artificial intelligence, automation, and related tools to enhance existing workflows and improve operational efficiency. The Analyst works in partnership with business stakeholders, Information Technology, Information Security, Programming, and the EPMO, as applicable, to ensure proposed solutions are appropriately vetted, prioritized, documented, and aligned with established governance, regulatory, compliance, information security, and risk management requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
  • Partner with business stakeholders to assess existing workflows, understand business objectives, and identify appropriate opportunities to use approved AI tools, automation, or related technologies to improve efficiency, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Build trusted relationships across the organization to understand business operations, influence positive change, and drive successful adoption of AI solutions.
  • Observe, document, and analyze business processes and operational workflows across multiple business units to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and improvement.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, AI solutions, automation platforms, and industry trends, identifying opportunities to leverage innovation to improve business processes, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with the AI Center of Excellence, AI architecture team, and enterprise project management to vet proposed solutions, align with existing initiatives, and ensure new projects follow the Bank’s established discovery and development processes.
  • Evaluate business processes and operational workflows to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and innovation; challenge existing practices, explore new approaches to business challenges, and develop actionable recommendations that improve effectiveness, support business objectives, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and lead pilot programs, proof-of-concept initiatives, and technology evaluations to assess feasibility and demonstrate business value.
  • Develop and implement AI, automation, and process improvement solutions in partnership with business stakeholders, evaluating results and identifying opportunities for ongoing optimization and improvement.
  • Ensure all initiatives adhere to applicable regulatory, compliance, information security, and risk management requirements.
  • Develop and present executive-level communications regarding project progress, key achievements, performance outcomes, implementation challenges, potential risks, and opportunities for continued improvement.
  • Measure and communicate the effectiveness, business value, and operational impact of implemented solutions.
  • Conduct and complete additional assignments/projects as designated by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred fields of study include Business Administration, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications, specialized training, or demonstrated coursework in artificial intelligence, automation, data analytics, emerging technologies, or related disciplines is a plus.
  • Recent graduates and/or individuals with a demonstrated passion for emerging technologies, AI, and continuous learning are encouraged to apply.
  • Internship, project, leadership, or work experience involving the use of AI, business analysis, process improvement, technology, data analysis, operations, project management, or related disciplines preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest and curiosity in emerging technologies, AI, automation, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to work independently, think critically, challenge assumptions, and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take initiative, explore new ideas, and identify opportunities to drive organizational improvement.
  • Experience within financial services or a regulated industry is a plus but not required.
  • Must be professional, comfortable speaking with external and internal contacts with a demonstrated ability to tailor the message appropriately to the audience and situation.
  • Demonstrated ability to convey thoughts and ideas effectively and succinctly via written formats, including emails, letters, and electronic platforms, maintaining professional standards of spelling and grammar.
  • Maintain credibility through professional demeanor, appearance, and presence by modeling standards appropriate to our environment and industry.
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal partners by exhibiting exemplary interpersonal skills, adopting a constructive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Use sound professional judgment to balance the interests of the organization and customer, understanding and using available resources to mitigate risks.
  • Ability to relay technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products and applications, including the ability to effectively prepare or review documents, procedures, and reports.4
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, AI tools, automation platforms, data visualization tools, or business intelligence applications is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and applications, as well as the ability to understand, adapt and adjust responsibilities/workflows as a result of system upgrades.
  • This position requires periodic travel to attend in person meetings and satisfy office obligations/responsibilities.
  • Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required depending upon business need.
