The AI Solution Manager for Harvey will serve as the firm’s primary subject matter expert and internal champion for the Harvey platform, driving adoption, building tailored workflows, and ensuring the platform delivers measurable value across the firm’s practice areas. The role sits at the intersection of legal practice, technology, and change management, requiring deep familiarity with how AmLaw 100 firms leverage generative AI tools in transactional, litigation, regulatory, and advisory work. This position reports to the Director of Solutions Development, with a dotted-line relationship to the Innovation Partner and relevant innovation and AI governance committees. A remote work schedule is available for this position.

Location

Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; New York City, NY; Rochester, NY; San Francisco, CA; Washington, DC

Responsibilities
  • Serve as subject matter expert on the Harvey platform.
  • Maintain deep proficiency in every feature of the platform, including its model options, file upload strategies, custom prompts, workflow builder, and agent capabilities.
  • Translate platform functionality into practical applications for attorneys and business professionals and serve as the go-to resource for questions about how to use it effectively.
  • Partner with practice groups, knowledge management, and business services teams to identify opportunities where the AI platform can streamline or transform existing work.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy workflows and agents within the platform to support recurring legal tasks, and iterate on these solutions based on user feedback and performance data. This includes documenting workflows, establishing quality controls, and creating reusable templates that can be adapted across matters and practice areas.
  • Develop and deliver onboarding sessions, practice-specific training, office hours, written guides, and video tutorials to drive adoption across the firm.
  • Monitor usage analytics, identify adoption barriers, and design targeted programs to expand engagement among different user populations.
  • Cultivate a community of power users and champions who can help extend the impact of the platform.
  • Own the firm’s relationship with Harvey, serving as the single point of accountability for platform performance, roadmap alignment, and vendor engagement. This includes managing regular business reviews, advocating for feature requests, escalating issues, and ensuring contractual commitments and service levels are met.
  • Gather and prioritize user feedback, advocate for new features and enhancements, participate in roadmap planning, and serve as the voice of the end user in product decisions.
  • Test new releases, support change management for major updates, and ensure that platform documentation and help resources remain current.
  • Develop, track, and report on a comprehensive set of metrics that demonstrate the platform’s value, adoption, and impact across the firm.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for technical issues, working closely with IT, information security, and the vendor’s support team.
  • Develop and maintain familiarity with the broader landscape of off-the-shelf legal AI solutions, including platforms focused on contract review and lifecycle management, due diligence, eDiscovery, legal research, drafting, and practice-specific tools.
  • Work with the Director of Solutions Development, the Innovation Partner, firm leadership, and the AI engineering team to establish baseline measurements, define key performance indicators, and build regular reporting cadences for practice group, department, committee, and executive audiences.
  • Produce dashboards and periodic reports, surface insights to inform product roadmap decisions, and benchmark the platform’s performance against external platforms where appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in legal technology, knowledge management, legal operations, or practice innovation, preferably at a law firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • JD preferred.
  • Experience working with generative AI platforms — whether as a builder, administrator, or power user.
  • Strong product thinking, the ability to translate between technical and legal audiences.
  • Comfort working in an iterative development environment.
  • Fluency with data analysis and reporting tools, and a track record of driving technology adoption among attorneys.
  • Hands-on experience with Harvey or a similar generative AI legal platform is strongly preferred, as is working knowledge of the broader legal AI vendor landscape.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills.
  • Ability to translate between technical and legal audiences.
