Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program and returning to complete the degree.
• Available to start full-time between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Full-time commitment for 16 weeks (Jan 19–May 7) at an IBM location.
• Co-op requires no concurrent coursework during the term.
• Strong fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design, and testing.
• Proficiency in Python and building apps that integrate APIs.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI-powered software.
• Ability to translate problems into clear requirements and tests.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test AI-powered features for developers and clients.
• Integrate LLMs, APIs, and enterprise data into applications.
• Write specs and prompts; review and test the code produced.
• Evaluate AI behavior with realistic test cases and performance metrics.
• Debug across model interactions, code, APIs, and systems.
• Collaborate via Git, code reviews, and documentation; iterate on feedback.
