Job summary

Procom is seeking a Mid-Level AI Software Engineer for a 6-month contract based in Ann Arbor, MI. The role is hybrid, with 4 days onsite at the client’s office and 1 day remote.

You will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and data teams to integrate AI into production systems. Responsibilities include building AI-enabled services, integrating LLM-based solutions, implementing RAG and semantic search, and developing APIs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 3–6 years of software development experience.
• 2+ years building AI/ML or Generative AI apps.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience developing REST APIs and distributed services.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-enabled applications and services.
• Build and integrate Generative AI solutions using large language models (LLMs).
• Develop AI agents, workflows, prompts, tools, and orchestration frameworks.
