Job summary

RPL International is seeking an experienced AI Security Engineer to join a growing cybersecurity organization focused on securing enterprise AI technologies. You will protect AI systems, evaluate model security, and help implement governance and security controls across AI initiatives.

This hybrid Miami role offers relocation assistance for qualified candidates and requires familiarity with AI security, model security, and secure development practices in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of software engineering, cybersecurity, AI engineering, or related experience.
• Strong Python development skills for automation and security tasks.
• Experience with machine learning or generative AI technologies, including model concepts and deployment.
• Knowledge of AI security principles, secure software development practices, and application security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance security controls for enterprise AI platforms and applications.
• Assess AI models for security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and operational risks throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and governance teams to establish secure AI development practices.
• Support the implementation and optimization of enterprise AI security technologies used for model monitoring, inventory management, and risk assessment.
• Perform security assessments and adversarial testing of AI systems to identify weaknesses and improve resilience.
• Help establish governance processes that provide visibility into AI assets, model usage, and security posture.
• Work with identity and security teams to improve access controls and permissions for AI applications and autonomous agents.
• Assist with initiatives related to AI governance, data protection, and enterprise security architecture.
• Stay current on emerging AI security threats, attack techniques, and industry best practices.
