Job summary

Swingtech is seeking an AI Security Engineer for a hybrid role, requiring US Citizens or Green Card holders and local to the DMV area. The role focuses on securing AI-enabled systems, data pipelines, and model endpoints, with emphasis on evidence for Government authorization and production release.

You will implement security controls, conduct AI-specific testing, and support incident response and supply-chain security while collaborating with engineering and governance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information assurance, engineering, or related field.
• At least five years in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, or related roles.
• Experience with Federal cybersecurity frameworks (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53/171, FedRAMP, RMF/ATO).

Responsibilities

• Design and improve cybersecurity, privacy, and AI security controls for DOL AI systems.
• Develop AI security architecture, threat models, and test plans with remediation steps.
• Validate security controls across AI applications, data pipelines, models, and APIs.
• Support RMF/ATO activities and continuous monitoring with evidence.
