Plaid is seeking a skilled AI Security Engineer to be the first line of defense for Plaid's AI initiatives. You will review new AI technologies for security risks, then design controls and guardrails to enable aggressive AI use without compromising safety.

Responsibilities include building detection systems, managing AI identities, and leading security reviews to scale protection as Plaid integrates AI across its platform.

Qualifications

• Must-have: hands-on experience securing AI technologies, including at least one of the listed items.

Responsibilities

• Review AI systems and integrations for security risk before and after deployment.
• Design and deploy guardrails, sandboxes, and other controls that constrain AI actions.
• Track and manage AI identities to balance risk with agility.
• Detect and mitigate prompt injection across Plaid's AI surface area.
• Run AI-focused security reviews and set the bar for other teams.
