Job Title: AI Security Engineer – Cyber Security & Application Security (AppSec) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced AI Security Engineer to lead the deployment and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI solutions within our Cyber Security and Application Security (AppSec) organization. This role is focused on leveraging AI to automate vulnerability management, enhance security operations, and drive cyber remediation across the software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience implementing AI-powered security tools, integrating them into enterprise security workflows, and building AI-driven remediation strategies that improve security posture and reduce remediation time.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain AI-powered security solutions within Cyber Security and AppSec environments.
- Implement AI and machine learning solutions that automate vulnerability detection, prioritization, and remediation.
- Integrate AI-powered security platforms with existing security tools, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps workflows.
- Develop AI-driven cyber remediation strategies to improve vulnerability management and reduce Mean Time to Remediation (MTTR).
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI-native Application Security tools such as Corgea, Mobb, ZeroPath, Xygeni, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with Security, Engineering, DevOps, and Development teams to integrate AI into secure software development processes.
- Assess emerging AI technologies and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency and security outcomes.
- Develop automation workflows that leverage Generative AI and Machine Learning to streamline security operations.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of AI-driven remediation initiatives using security metrics and KPIs.
- Ensure AI implementations align with organizational security policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Application Security, DevSecOps, or Security Engineering.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience deploying AI or Generative AI solutions within Cyber Security or AppSec environments.
- Proven experience integrating AI-powered security tools into enterprise security ecosystems.
- Experience building AI-driven cyber remediation strategies and security automation workflows.
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices and Application Security.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting/programming language used for automation and AI integration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-native AppSec platforms such as Corgea, Mobb, ZeroPath, Xygeni, or similar AI-driven remediation tools.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, and Generative AI frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of SAST, DAST, SCA, vulnerability management, threat modeling, and secure SDLC practices.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, GIAC, AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft Security, or cloud security certifications are a plus.
