Job summary

EY is seeking AI Systems Engineers to own the security and trust fabric of EY’s AI-native platform, spanning identity, secrets, PKI and attestation. You will enforce cryptographic lifecycle and trusted runtimes across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped environments.

You’ll partner with Enterprise Security, Cloud Platform and SRE to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance while delivering scalable, verifiable trust across multi-tenant workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in security engineering, identity/PKI, or trust infrastructure with hands-on ownership.
• Hands-on expertise with workload identity (SPIRE/SPIFFE), IAM (Keycloak/Entra ID), and secrets management (OpenBao/Vault).
• Strong PKI foundation and X.509 certificate lifecycle management (cert-manager).
• Experience with confidential compute and hardware attestation (TDX/SEV-SNP/SGX/NVIDIA CC) and secure boot.
• Proven ability to deploy identity and secrets across multi-tenant environments (cloud/on-prem/edge/air-gapped).
• Track record delivering audit-grade evidence under regulatory constraints.
• Ability to define clear ownership boundaries and consumption contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own workload identity and secrets management across diverse environments.
• Build confidential compute environments with trusted hardware features.
• Define platform-wide identity models for telemetry, attribution, and policy enforcement.
• Manage cryptographic lifecycle: issuance, rotation, revocation, expiry.
• Enforce attestation policy across nodes, enclaves, and workloads.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Security / Cloud Platform / SRE for audit readiness.
