Job summary

Amazon is seeking an AI Security Engineer for AWS Security - AISec to secure the AI experiences across Amazon's products and services. You will partner with software teams to review code for security issues, build automation, and adjust designs to enhance protection.

You will perform threat modeling, security code reviews in Java, Python, and JavaScript, and develop AI security automation tools while providing security guidance to engineers. AWS experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration or network security experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of scripting, programming, and security code review in a common language.
• Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
• Knowledge of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with AWS products and services.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain threat models for a wide variety of software projects.
• Perform manual and automated code review, primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Develop AI security automation tools.
• Conduct AI security training and outreach for internal teams.
• Provide AI security architecture and design guidance.
• Independently solve AI security problems requiring novel methods.
• Influence team and partner priorities to improve outcomes.
