Job summary

Pinnacle Group (Pinnacle Technical Resources) seeks an AI Security Engineer to secure AI/ML and GenAI platforms, applications, and workflows. You will identify and mitigate risks related to LLMs, AI models, data security, prompt injection, and cloud deployments.

Ideal candidate is a security professional with Generative AI expertise who can secure AI applications, manage AI risks, and enable safe AI adoption across the organization. This is a 12+ month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5+ years of Cybersecurity Engineering or App Security experience.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs (OpenAI GPT, Gemini, Claude, Llama).
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Proficiency in Python and security automation.
• Experience with DevSecOps, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for AI/ML and GenAI apps.
• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews.
• Protect AI systems against prompt injection, data leakage, model poisoning, and adversarial attacks.
• Secure AI/ML pipelines, APIs, cloud environments, and MLOps platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and security teams to embed security.
• Develop AI security standards, governance frameworks, and monitoring capabilities.

Job Summary

We are seeking an AI Security Engineer to secure AI/ML and Generative AI platforms, applications, and workflows. The ideal candidate will identify and mitigate risks related to LLMs, AI models, data security, prompt injection, model abuse, and cloud-based AI deployments.

Ideal Candidate: A security professional with expertise in cybersecurity and Generative AI who can secure AI applications, manage AI-related risks, and enable safe adoption of AI technologies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for AI/ML and GenAI applications.

• Knowledge of MLOps, Responsible AI, and AI Governance frameworks.

Pay Range: $60 - $65

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
