Job summary

Samsung Next, based in Mountain View, CA, seeks a part-time Technical Fellow for AI and Robotics. You will work remotely with the MD for AI and Robotics, building a sector thesis, sourcing deals, and performing technical diligence on live opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or a recent graduate of a graduate degree program in CS, engineering, or related field.
• Deep expertise in AI, robotics, edge/cloud infrastructure.
• Evidence of building, researching, shipping, or founding.
• Strong analytical writing and communication; ability to simplify complex ideas.

Responsibilities

• Build a focused thesis in depth area and map markets.
• Source opportunities and surface companies worth meeting.
• Run rigorous technical diligence on live or practice deals.
• Write concise, publication-ready investment memos and defend views.
• Participate in cohort learning and peer reviews with the team.
