Job summary

BECU is seeking an Enterprise Risk Analyst - AI Risk to help shape responsible AI adoption across the enterprise and protect member data. You will identify, assess, and monitor AI-related risks, while strengthening governance and risk management practices.

The role offers remote work within approved locations and collaboration with Risk, Technology, Governance, Compliance and Business teams to balance innovation with compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with course work in finance/statistics/other quantitative areas or equivalent, relevant work experience required.
  • 1 year of applicable Enterprise Risk or Audit experience; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

  • AI Risk Assessments: Identify, assess, and evaluate risks related to AI, ML, generative AI, and other AI-enabled solutions.
  • Independent Review & Challenge: Perform reviews and validations of AI systems, models, tools, data, and processes.
  • Risk Monitoring: Monitor AI-related risks, controls, and performance indicators.
  • AI Governance Support: Contribute to AI governance processes, frameworks, and oversight activities.
  • Enterprise AI Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of AI models, tools, and agents with risk classifications.
  • Third-Party & Internal Solution Reviews: Evaluate AI solutions for risks and policy alignment.
  • Control Evaluation: Review AI-related controls and provide risk guidance.
  • Risk Analytics & Reporting: Develop analyses, dashboards, and reports for AI risk assessment and monitoring.
  • Emerging Technology Research: Research AI tech trends and regulatory developments.
  • Quantitative Risk Support: Apply analytical techniques in risk management initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with technology, governance, compliance, and business leaders.
  • Risk Advisory: Translate AI risks into actionable business insights.
