Job summary

Hume AI, based in New York City, seeks talented AI researchers to build state-of-the-art speech-language models using RLHE. You will develop software for distributed training, inference, and benchmarking, handling large-scale data collection, storage, and analysis to advance audio models and evaluation tools.

The role requires strong Python and PyTorch expertise, production-grade coding skills, and the ability to explore uncertain research directions with a collaborative team at industry scale.

Qualifications

• Expertise in the Python ecosystem and popular ML libraries (e.g. PyTorch).
• Experience writing robust production-ready code.
• Comfort iterating quickly on new and uncertain research directions.
• 2+ years of experience contributing to the training and/or fine-tuning of models with large-scale datasets (text, audio, image, or video).

Responsibilities

• Build software systems that support distributed model training, inference, and benchmarking.
• Handle massive-scale data collection, storage, preprocessing, and analysis.
• Collaborate with team to advance state-of-the-art audio models and evaluation tools.
