Job summary

Kula Example is seeking a world-class AI Research Scientist to push the boundaries of deep learning. You will conduct original research, publish eminent papers, and collaborate with engineering teams to productionize innovations.

You will design novel algorithms, mentor junior researchers, and help shape a cutting-edge research program that aligns with the company’s strategic AI goals. This role emphasizes rigorous scientific contribution and impact on product teams.

Qualifications

• PhD in CS/EE or related field with a strong focus on AI and deep learning.
• Proven research track record in AI and deep learning with publications.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and/or Java.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of software development principles and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate novel deep learning algorithms and models, focusing on state-of-the-art techniques.
• Collaborate with software engineering, product, and data science teams to deploy AI-powered features.
• Publish papers in top conferences and journals and present at events.
• Develop and maintain a research agenda aligned with company goals.
• Stay updated with AI advances and apply them to improve research outcomes.
• Lead and mentor junior researchers and engineers in AI and deep learning.
• Lead research projects aligned with strategic priorities and partner with academia.
• Engage with external partners to advance the company’s AI research agenda.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences through reports and talks.
