Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Applied Science Intern focused on Recommender Systems and Information Retrieval in Machine Learning. You will work with leading scientists to explore deep learning, NLP, and large-scale systems that influence millions of Amazon customers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a PhD program and eligible for an internship.
• Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to a 12-week internship.
• Experience with knowledge graphs, NLP, DL, and ML methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate new recommender system and information retrieval algorithms on large-scale data.
• Develop scalable data pipelines for model training.
• Investigate latest advancements in recommender systems and ML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy solutions in production.
• Communicate findings through presentations and documentation.
