Job summary

84.51°, Kroger Technology & Digital (KTD) partner, seeks a Senior Manager, AI Reliability Engineering to establish and lead an enterprise-grade AI reliability discipline. You will own production readiness, observability, and incident response for models, agents and shared runtimes, shaping resilient AI systems at scale.

You will collaborate with Platform, Model and Applied AI teams to embed reliability from architecture through deployment, while driving cost efficiency and performance at scale

Qualifications

10+ years in software/platform/SRE or production engineering, with leadership experience.
Experience building automation, standards, and platforms for reliability at scale.
Deep knowledge of distributed systems, Kubernetes, cloud infra (GCP/Azure), networking, CI/CD, observability.

Responsibilities

Define production-grade AI reliability standards and roadmap.
Stand up AI Reliability Engineering discipline, operating model and culture.
Embed resilience, observability and safe deployment across AI systems.
Develop reliability tooling, including self-healing and automated evaluations.
Establish SLOs/SLIs, error budgets and robustness scorecards.
Drive cost and performance optimization for AI workloads.
Lead incident prevention and rapid recovery practices.
