Job summary

USDM Life Sciences is seeking a Program Manager / Engagement Delivery Lead to drive a large-scale AI program modernizing a regulated workflow into a validated, production-ready capability. This is a hands-on delivery role with a multi-gate plan, weekly reviews, and a team spanning core and surge resources.

The role requires 10+ years in pharma/biopharma delivery, plus PMP/SAFe/DAMA credentials. It is remote within the US with occasional (<10%) travel for workshops and steering meetings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years program leadership in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical technology delivery.
• 3+ years leading multi-million dollar consulting engagements end to end.
• Experience delivering a GAMP 5 or CSA-validated system into production.
• Delivery experience on cloud data or AI/ML programs; governing agentic AI scope.
• Milestone or gate-based commercial management with NTE and change control.
• Executive presence at VP/SVP level with strong steering materials.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of a multi-gate milestone plan from initiation to post-launch.
• Run recurring steering with client co-chairs and maintain risk register.
• Manage integrated critical path across IQ/OQ/PQ, QA, data conversion, and integration.
• Orchestrate core delivery and surge teams with governance and knowledge capture.
• Drive scope governance, change orders, and contingency discipline.
• Own milestone-aligned invoicing under a time-and-material not-to-exceed structure.
• Quality-gate client-facing artifacts with AI quality lead before submission.
