Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. seeks a Manager, AI - Special Projects to lead and scale its AI team.

This high-ownership role spans strategy to hands-on execution, with frequent travel to CHAI country offices and a strong preference for Boston colocation to work in person with the Head of AI. You will help translate vision into compelling proposals, recruit early team members, and support fundraising efforts while coordinating across CHAI’s 30+ country offices.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced user of modern AI productivity tools with a passion for tinkering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support development of CHAI AI team's core strategy and fundraising efforts.
• Take ownership of expansion areas of AI work, assess feasibility, and recruit first team members.
• Scale the team by contributing to hiring, onboarding, operations, and delivery as needed.
• Coordinate engagement across CHAI's country offices and ensure smooth integration of the AI team into existing programs.
• Move between strategic analysis and hands-on execution to address critical needs.
• Use modern AI tools to build, automate, and standardize ways of working.
• Prepare high-quality strategic materials and communications for internal and external audiences.
• Represent the AI team at conferences and external forums as needed.
• Undertake other responsibilities to support team growth and success.
