Job summary

PACCAR ITD in Renton, WA seeks an AI Product Manager to define the AI strategy and roadmap across applications, partnering with business teams and IT leads to deliver measurable outcomes. The role leads an AI Applications team and drives pilots into scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with InfoSec, Legal and Compliance to ensure responsible AI, data governance and security, while guiding delivery across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years experience in software development programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience and/or training in Artificial Intelligence and its uses in software development and platform support.
  • Experience leading development and implementation of IT strategy desired.
  • Track record of delivering complex work in conditions of uncertainty.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including ability to lead cross functional workstreams in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience with IT program delivery, including leading clarity and stakeholder buy-in leading to successful implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of software delivery methodologies.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment with little or no supervision.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply technology solutions for business processes quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Define AI direction at PACCAR ITD Applications with a strategy and roadmap aligned to business outcomes.
  • Lead the AI Applications team of matrixed resources including developers.
  • Cultivate relationships with AI user groups and practice leaders across ITD.
  • Identify AI opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and automation with measurable outcomes.
  • Identify, lead and support pilot projects to test and scale AI use cases.
  • Own program planning and execution, tracking progress, risks, and benefits across workstreams.
  • Monitor support issues for AI services and identify long-term fixes.
  • Ensure alignment to data governance, security, and responsible AI policies; coordinate with InfoSec, Legal and Compliance.
