Job summary

Thinking Machines in San Francisco is seeking a full stack engineer to build and ship products from prototype to scale. The role involves work on both frontend and backend components, enhancing reliability, observability, and security in production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or similar.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python or Rust).
• Familiarity with ReactJS and TypeScript is a plus.
• Comfort across the stack and owning projects end-to-end.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and build new APIs and product backends in Python and Rust.
• Launch new products and UX with React and TypeScript.
• Improve developer experience for local dev and deployment.
• Enhance system reliability and provide on-call support.
