Job summary

EY is seeking AI Systems Engineers to build and operate EY’s AI-native platform substrate, spanning bare-metal to Kubernetes across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air-gapped targets. You’ll own the infrastructure foundation and secure execution environments, enabling reliable, portable, and scalable Agentic AI workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes distributions (RKE2, EKS/AKS/GKE, K3s) and lifecycle management.
• Deep experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and scheduling (NVAIE/DCGM).
• Experience with IaC and GitOps tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD, Crossplane).
• Proven track record in compliant, secure production infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform: compute, Kubernetes, scheduling, multi-tenancy, for Agentic AI workflows.
• Own the infrastructure foundation: Ubuntu/OS, bare-metal, DPU architecture, and GPU/network components.
• Stand up EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped modes with a consistent stack.
• Deliver platform capabilities for Infrastructure Management, Kubernetes, and Cluster Fabric Management.
• Own cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, GPU pooling, and tenancy boundaries with isolation per tenant.
• Own secure execution and inference with Ray Serve, vLLM/NIM/Triton, sandboxed runtimes.
• Own cognitive routing: Envoy AI Gateway, semantic routing, model/prompt selection, streaming responses.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD/CV, IaC, GitOps to ensure reproducibility and drift-free environments.
• Own backup, DR, and cross-environment replication; manage patching and supply-chain hygiene.
