Job summary

PGTEK is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable Kubernetes environments and DevOps pipelines for AI workloads. You will manage containerized workloads, automation, and secure deployments across cloud and on‑prem architectures.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT aligned IAM II certification, with hands‑on experience in security, monitoring, and performance optimization. Expect collaboration with multiple teams in a mission‑critical setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes environments in cloud and on‑prem deployments.
• Strong background implementing secure, scalable DevOps workflows and automation pipelines.
• Proficiency with IaC and modern CI/CD tooling to support AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, secure, maintain, and upgrade highly available Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Manage Kubernetes control plane components, worker nodes, and supporting infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes best practices.
• Configure and manage Kubernetes resources including Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, PVs, and Namespaces.
• Support advanced networking configurations, including CNI plugins, network policies, service meshes, and DNS services.
